Vajra Baranam was founded in 1955 by L. Parthasarathy, the grandfather of the current director.

His commitment to quality and his tenacity allowed him to flourish in the industry. Long before the establishment of formal quality benchmarks, he was adamant about upholding the highest standards.

In 1990, P. Venkatesan took over the business, enhancing and building upon the strong foundation laid by the founder.

Under Venkatesan’s leadership, Vajra Baranam navigated an evolving business environment of the ’90s and 2000s. Venkatesan modernized the company, adopting new benchmark standards swiftly.

Mr. Parthasarathy’s survival tactics became a robust legacy under Mr. Venkatesan, who steered the company into the 21st century.

Now, V. Visnu Prasad, the current director, aims to expand the company’s influence globally, building on its distinguished legacy with fresh energy and perspective.

Visnu Prasad’s vision is to expand the business that was established by his grandfather and enhanced by his father.
